It Was All A Dream, I Used To Read Word Up Magazine...

OoooOOO. My first official blog. Guess I should say something special since first time things happen, well they only happen once. History is in the making folks.

Hi. My name is intelsis. Well that isn't my real name. But you can call me intelsis. Telly. Ms I Am Hip Hop. MSIAHH. T Otis. Nanci O. Some of my friends even call me T.

Radio is dying. Free radio is on disability. Great music is being blocked on radio frequencys and kept from getting to the masses.....

Turn Off The TV For A While!!

My primary mission, and I choose to accept it, is to bring you the Freshest Thursday Night Features my mind can imagine, plan and execute. A creative force in motion, if you will.

In addition I have made it my business to be on Soul Glow Patrol In The Bull City. We'll get to that later.

This is the part where the shameless self promotion comes in. Cause guess what? If you don't open your mouth people won't hear you.

March is coming ya'll....it's time yet again to pay honor and tribute to Ladies who rock the mic!
In honor of Women's History Month: March 2008

Women In Hip Hop on The Thursday Night Feature

wxyc chapel hill 89.3 FM

http://www.wxyc.org/

3 hours spinning the best & greatest femcees in Hip Hop...

From the time when Cross Colors was hot, rocking the freshest British Knights was a must and everybody was "Hailing The Queen", til now when Apple bottems are everywhere, female lyricists are still beefing and rocking stillettos in the club is de rigour....

I won't be biased. I'm going to play the wack shit too. Might as well keep it 100%.
Anyway it's been 2 years since I did this show, and the last time I didn't even get to all my music in the crate. I'm super excited.

Sure everybody knows MC Lyte and Queen Latifah. But what you know about
Ms. Melodie?
Mia X?
Tierra B?
Shazzy?
Jean Grae?
The Deadly Venoms?
The Conscious Daughters?

Be sure to tune in kids. Time to sit back, listen, pour out a lil something and recognize that women have a voice in Hip Hop and will be heard!

So that ends the posting of my first posting. Raw and from the heart. I'll look back to this moment and think, if you can imagine it, speak it, and then do it all things are possible.
