Hip Hop Is Not Dead

Scroll to the bottom of the last post....that's real. Let's expound for a minute.

I am hip hop. I know hip hop. I breathe hip hop. Well I don't breathe it cause that isn't possible.

People who know me know I know hip hop. Get it? I didn't crown myself...my folk did. I just ran with it.

From underground to street hop, boom bap to west coast, left coast to snap and trap, up top to down bottom, mid-west to shake spot bangers. Plus all the varieties that reside in between those. Trust there are more. So yes my friends I know the genre like I know how to tie my shoes.

So I'll say it again. Hip Hop is not dead. If you're disgruntled with the music then you are dead. Hip hop not only lives it also lives inside of you. Stop being pessimistic. Or lazy.

Please believe there is some real material being busted out in studios. There are MC's out here writing their little hearts out. Lyricists sweating over rhyme books working to scribe the perfect 16.

So those disgruntled people sitting at home, or at the dice spot, or in the barbershop crying like little bitches talking bout hip hop is dead......

Stop listening to bullshit!! Reach out and get some edutainment on the creative material being conceived. Trust Nanci O. It's out there. But like a good investment, it's just not going to fall in to your lap. You have to go out, research and then cultivate it so that it grows to the point where it keeps giving and giving.

Real talk.

Most importantly, I had a ball. Anytime I can bring my favorite musical artists.....or better yet little known creative musicians and put it out over some radio frequencies and send it to thirsty ears everywhere makes me a happy little clam.
