The 5th Anniversary of the SOHIPOTOME Women In Hip Hop Radio Special airs this Thursday March 11, 2010.The women in hip hop radio special began in March (women's history month) five years ago as a music journey into the history of female rappers. Each year historical facts about female artists and their music is played exclusively all night.
In honor of the 5th anniversary of the radio special, pioneer Monie Love is the featured guest and will be calling in during the show for an interview. Monie Love has been extremely busy the past couple of years with several current and new projects well underway.
The special airs 3/11/2010 from 9PM-12MN on WXYC 89.3 FM Chapel Hill, NC --the radio station where the women in hip hop radio special began five years ago.
