2010 is the 2nd year for the SOHIPOTOME Women In Hip Hop events. This year the SOHIPOTOME FireRose Award is being added to the events. This special award is dedicated to the individual whose work over the past year has truly blazed a trail for other women in or of the culture of hip hop. The individuals' business/company motivates others to grow, provides education about the industry and supports efforts within their communities that empowers the next generation in hip hop.The recipient of the 2010 FireRose Award will be selected from this years honorees and announced during the SOHIPOTOME Honors & Concert event on March 13.
